Marlen Jaramillo
With over ten years of experience in graphic design and consulting, Marlen brings a human-centered approach to every project—whether developing marketing assets for startups or crafting visual campaigns for performing arts organizations.
Originally trained in Industrial Design, Marlen began her career in San Francisco, where a passion for 3D design naturally evolved into a love for 2D visual storytelling. Her work spans both digital and print media, including infographics, eBooks, social media ads, posters, and branded collateral.
Known for her collaborative spirit and strategic eye, Marlen has worked with clients across industries—from tech and construction to arts and culture—helping each communicate their vision with clarity and creativity.
Mario Genel
Mario Genel is a filmmaker and video producer with over fifteen years of experience in film, television, and advertising. He has created commercials, documentaries, and branded content for major corporations and non-profit organizations, with a strong focus on storytelling and visual excellence.
His work has received international recognition, including HBO Best Latinx Short Film, San Diego Film Consortium Best Short Film, and national honors in Mexico through the Cinépolis/Bancomer Hazlo en Corto competition.
Mario has collaborated with companies such as Grand Pacific Resorts and Univision News, producing corporate videos, aerial cinematography, social media content, and documentaries. His debut feature documentary "From the Corner", secured a five-year distribution deal with Cinépolis and streams across Latin America on platforms including Amazon Prime Video.

The Inspiration Behind Ambigua
Our name is inspired by Sphaeralcea ambigua—a resilient desert flower that thrives across the U.S.–Mexico border in harsh landscapes. Like the bloom, Ambigua is rooted in two worlds and shaped by the cultures, perspectives, and creativity that exist between them.
